Candidate will be responsible for supporting Middleware solutions, such as WebSphere, WebLogic, JBOSS, IIS, Apache, Web Server, Web services and between two or more systems within multiple target platforms that may include Windows, Unix/Linux or z/OS. Evaluate security models of vendor middleware technologies to ensure compliance with current company policies and/or industry regulations. Solve technical problems which involve large scale inter-disciplinary objectives with multiple, distributed and/or mainframe systems that are embedded in networks at multiple levels. Hold and maintain a proficiency in middleware technologies and industry best practices

Responsible for the customization and implementation of robust, secure, scalable systems across n-tier platforms.

Communicate and collaborate with other application support teams technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions
Evaluate and provide recommendation for WebSphere, WebLogic, JBOSS, IIS, Apache, Web Server, Web service and server specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
Administer, monitor and maintain system security.
Administer and monitor JVM performance by analyzing heap, connection pools and garbage collection patterns.
Participate in a 24/7 on call rotation.
Analyze all aspects of the existing infrastructure and recommend modifications that will enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability and scalability.
Document best practices, operational procedures and defining standards, guidelines, best practices and metrics.
Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment
3 years of experience working with 3 of the 7 listed technologies; WebSphere, WebLogic, JBOSS, IIS, Apache, WebServer and Webservice Application Servers
1 year of SQL Database experience

Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face)

5+ years of experience as a WebSphere, WebLogic, JBOSS, IIS, Apache, WebServer and Webservice administrator.
Experience with MS-SQL Database Administration.
Experience with performance analysis of applications and interconnected components (Web Servers, Messaging)
Scripting languages: BASH, Perl, VBScript, BAT, Powershell
Bachelors Degree in related field.
IBM Websphere Application Server management (4+ years)
Windows Server administration experience (4+ years)
Administration in SuSE Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Server (4+ years)
UNIX Administration: AIX, Red Hat Linux, HP-UX
